Clohisy Drafted by Atlanta Braves

ST. LOUIS – The Atlanta Braves selected Saint Louis outfielder Patrick Clohisy in the 11th round (341st overall) of the 2024 Major League Baseball Draft today.

Clohisy, a St. Louis native (Chaminade), hit .353 at SLU over two seasons. He smashed 17 home runs and posted RBIs in his Billiken career. Clohisy began his college career at Purdue, appearing in 14 games over two seasons with the Boilermakers.

This past season, Clohisy led the Atlantic 10 Conference in batting average (.380), runs per game (1.16) and triples (0.12) while helping the Billikens to the A-10 regular-season title. He was a first-team All-Conference selection in 2024 after earning second-team plaudits in 2023.

Clohisy is the first Billiken to go in the MLB Draft since 2019 and is the 15th SLU draft pick under head coach Darin Hendrickson.
