Graduate Defender Elise Le Joins 2024 Billiken Roster

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University women's soccer head coach Katie Shields has announced the addition of former Xavier University defender Elise Le to the Billikens' 2024 roster. Le will have one year of eligibility remaining.

"We are thrilled to welcome Elise into our program," Shields said. "We have known her since her youth soccer playing days and have been impressed with her throughout her collegiate career at Xavier. Elise will bring tremendous experience, talent and high character to our team, and we look forward to her contributing this fall to our pursuit of championships."

Le played four years at Xavier, graduating with a bachelor's degree in engineering physics. She logged 4,638 minutes in 65 career games (63 starts) and tallied six assists. From 2021 to 2023, Le helped lead the Musketeers to three NCAA Tournament appearances, two championships and a runner-up finish in Big East Conference regular-season play, and a 0.61 goals against average.

A native of Montgomery, Ohio, Le earned All-City honors as a junior at Ursuline Academy. In club soccer, she was a member of an Ohio Elite team that made the 2019 ECNL final four, garnered "Player to Watch" status in 2018-19, and earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference "Best XI" in 2017-18.
