Gaebe Selected a "Forward to Watch" by United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Saint Louis University senior forward Emily Gaebe has been named a "Forward to Watch" for the 2024 season by United Soccer Coaches.

Gaebe is coming off a record-setting 2023 campaign that saw her selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-America first team, becoming the first SLU women's soccer forward to earn All-America honors. She also was the Atlantic 10 Conference Offensive Player of the Year, one of 15 semifinalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy, an A-10 Championship All-Tournament choice, and the College Soccer News National Player of the Week for Oct. 9-15.

The Union, Mo., native begins her senior season second in goals (32), third in points (82), fifth in shots (214), tied for seventh in game-winning assists (seven) and tied for ninth in assists (18) on the Billikens' career lists. A year ago, she tallied school records and league-leading totals of 16 goals (tied for fifth nationally) and 41 points (sixth), plus career highs of five game-winning goals (tied for 14th) and nine assists (tied for 23rd, tied for first A-10). In A-10 regular-season play, Gaebe led the conference with 11 goals and 26 points.

Gaebe began her career by collecting A-10 Rookie of the Year plaudits and a second-team All-Conference nod as a freshman. She claimed first-team All-Conference and third-team All-Region accolades in her sophomore season.
