GAME DETAILS
•Hope Kim scored her first collegiate goal in the 63rd minute and the Saint Louis defense did the rest as the 22nd-ranked Billikens began Atlantic 10 Conference play with a 1-0 victory at Massachusetts Thursday afternoon.
•SLU's third straight win improved the Billikens' overall record to 5-1-3. SLU is 5-1-1 in its last seven games. UMass, which saw its four-game winning streak and six-game unbeaten streak snapped, fell to 5-3-1.
•Ashley Miller collected her second assist of the season, while Emily Puricelli made four saves.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Saint Louis out-shot UMass 18-5 overall and 7-4 in shots on goal.
•The Billikens improved to 21-4-4 in conference openers, including 14-3-3 as an A-10 member. SLU has won its last eight league openers.
•In its final regular-season meeting with Massachusetts – UMass is joining the Mid-American Conference next year – SLU improved its series records to 12-1-3 overall and 5-1 in Amherst with a seventh straight victory over the Minutewomen.
•The Billikens extended their A-10 regular-season winning streak to eight and their A-10 regular-season unbeaten streak to 21.
•Including conference tournament games, Saint Louis extended its winning streak vs. A-10 opponents to 11 and its unbeaten streak vs. league foes to 30.
•The shutout was SLU's fifth of the season and Emily Puricelli's fourth. Puricelli increased her school-record career total to 44 clean sheets.
•Hope Kim became the 10th different goal scorer for the Billikens this season. Thirteen of SLU's 18 goals this year have been assisted; a different player combination has accounted for each of the 13 assisted tallies.
•Puricelli, Eva Schreiber, Lyndsey Heckel, Sophia Stram and Elise Le played all 90 minutes.
