PHILADELPHIA – Saint Louis and La Salle played to a scoreless draw Saturday night in the Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer opener for both teams.
The Billikens move to 2-2-3 overall and 0-0-1 in A-10 play, while La Salle is now 1-4-3 and 0-0-1 in the league.
Saint Louis managed a 16-7 advantage in shots and held a 14-3 edge in corner kicks.
Jeremi Abonnel made three saves for the shutout in goal for the Bills. La Salle goalie Randy Burkhardt stopped four SLU chances.

SLU is back home at Hermann Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 28, when it hosts Loyola Chicago at 7:30 p.m. during SLU's Homecoming and Family Weekend. The traditional fireworks display will take place at halftime of the match.
