Saint Louis (5-7) begins Atlantic 10 Conference play on the road this weekend, traveling to the Bronx, N.Y., to face Fordham (4-5) Friday (4 p.m. CT) and Saturday (1 p.m. CT), Sept. 27-28.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
Saint Louis concluded non-conference play last weekend at Iowa's Kwik Star Klassic. The Billikens defeated Iowa 3-1 and fell 3-2 to Drake and 3-1 to South Dakota.

Trinity Luckett was named to the Kwik Star Klassic All-Tournament team. Luckett led SLU with a .423 hitting percentage (29-7-52) and 1.54 blocks per set. She posted a match-high seven blocks vs. South Dakota and a team-high six blocks vs. Iowa.

Addy Brus was selected A-10 Rookie of the Week, her second such honor this season, for her performance at the Kwik Star Klassic. Brus led the Billikens with 3.92 kills per set and was second on the team with 4.00 points and 2.38 digs per set. She tallied a match-high 20 kills and completed a double-double with 14 digs vs. Drake, and she compiled match highs of 23 kills and 23 points in SLU's win over Iowa.

Carlie Rodgers continues to lead the A-10 in digs per set. Rodgers' 4.57 average ranks 44th in NCAA Division I.

Addy Brus is second in the conference in kills per set (3.89, 62nd nationally) and points per set (4.32, 86th nationally).

The Billikens feature two players among the league's top 10 blockers in second-place
Trinity Luckett (1.24 per set, 82nd nationally) and 10th-place

Saint Louis leads the all-time series with Fordham 28-2, including a pair of five-set victories in St. Louis a year ago. The Billikens won the first two sets and held off the Rams' comeback challenge in both matches.
SCOUTING FORDHAM
The Rams welcomed back three 2023 A-10 postseason honorees in graduate outside hitter Whitley Moody (first team), junior outside hitter Audrey Brown (second team) and sophomore setter Whitney Woodrow (All-Rookie). Fordham was 17-12 overall and 8-10 in the A-10 (tied for fifth) a year ago, falling to VCU in the A-10 Championship quarterfinals.

South Dakota was a common non-conference opponent for Saint Louis and Fordham earlier this season. The Billikens fell to the Coyotes 3-1 (22-25, 16-25, 25-23, 28-30), while the Rams lost 3-0 (14-25, 20-25, 20-25).

Fordham leads the A-10 in digs per set (15.68) and is second in opponents' hitting percentage (.178).

Moody and Brown are the Rams' primary offensive threats, averaging 3.59 and 2.97 kills per set, respectively. Senior libero Ryan Naumann leads with 3.62 digs per set, and Moody contributes 3.24 digs per set. Sophomore middle blockers Tatum Holderied (1.13 blocks per set) and Lorenza Rosenkilde (1.07 blocks per set) provide presence at the net.
