•No. 19 Saint Louis exploded for five second-half goals and defeated SIUE 6-1 Sunday afternoon at CITYPARK in downtown St. Louis.
•The Billikens improved to 3-1-3. SIUE slipped to 1-2-2.
•
Emily Gaebe tallied two goals and an assist, and
Hannah Larson registered a goal and two assists to lead the way.
•Gaebe put SLU on top in the 14th minute when she scored on one of the Billikens' six 1st-half corner kicks.
Izzy Luebbert assisted.
•The score remained 1-0 until the 58th minute when Gaebe struck again, this time with assists by Larson and
Katie Houck.
•Gaebe's second marker -- giving her six career braces -- ignited a flurry of four goals in just under 11 minutes.
Julia Simon, assisted by Gaebe, made it 3-0 in the 60th minute. After SIUE notched its only goal, Larson (
Rylee Howard assist) found the back of the net in the 66th minute, and
Emily Fox (Larson) made it 5-1 in the 69th minute.

Lucie Schwartz tacked on an unassisted goal in the 84th minute to complete Saint Louis' largest scoring output of the season.
