DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Billikens defeated Davidson 60-51 on Sunday for the first win against the Wildcats in the Tillett era.
Mya Glanton scored a season-high 18 points, going a perfect 9-9 from the field. She also added 10 rebounds, marking her first double-double in a Saint Louis uniform.
The Billikens' defense was the best it has been all season, allowing a season low 51 points. Saint Louis did not allow a point from the Wildcats for over 11 minutes spanning from the second to third quarters. Davidson scored single digits in both of those quarters.
Kennedy Calhoun added 10 points, setting a career high with 229 points this season. She also recorded seven assists.
Tierra Simon contributed 11 points, seven rebounds, and a career-high four steals.
The Billikens return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 29, when they host George Mason for Education Day. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. Central time.
