ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis struggled to contain Davidson's three-point shooting in a 94-53 loss on Sunday afternoon.
Tierra Simon had a standout performance, scoring a career-high 17 points while also contributing four rebounds and three blocks.
Mya Glanton led the Billikens on the boards with seven rebounds, and Nafatoumata Haidara recorded her first points of the season along with two blocks.
Kennedy Calhoun added 15 points and four steals of her own.
Davidson's hot shooting led to an impressive 85-percent shooting performance in the first half, including an unmissable stretch of eight consecutive three-pointers. However, SLU adjusted defensively in the second half, limiting the Wildcats to just three made threes.
The Billikens will look to bounce back when they travel to St. Bonaventure for a 5 p.m. CT tip-off on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
