ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University softball coach Christy Connoyer has announced the Billikens' 52-game 2025 schedule, a slate that includes 13 home dates.
 
Five Atlantic 10 Conference opponents visit the Billiken Sports Center to take on the 2024 A-10 Championship runner-up Billikens, including 2024 A-10 Championship participants Loyola Chicago and Fordham. Also on the home docket are local rivals Lindenwood and SIUE, as well as 2024 conference regular-season champions South Dakota State (Summit) and Eastern Illinois (Ohio Valley).
 
Saint Louis' non-conference schedule features opponents from 11 different leagues, including Big Ten teams Ohio State, Illinois and Purdue.
 
"We're excited to be challenged in our early-season tournaments to prepare us for Atlantic 10 competition," Connoyer said. "We play a more national schedule, literally traveling north, south, east and west this spring. We will be exposed to so many styles of play and situations that will give us great preparation for the challenges of the conference. With a strong senior class and more championship experience throughout our lineup, our student-athletes will also be allowed more opportunity for national recognition.   
 
"Our team had an incredible fall semester in the classroom with a 3.91 team GPA," Connoyer said. "They achieved that stellar GPA while training on the field and in the weight room all fall with incredible determination. They know how to work and how to balance academics with athletics. Couple that work ethic with the chemistry and culture of our team, and we have a great opportunity to do something special. We're excited for the season." 
 
The Billikens' season begins Feb. 6-8 at Hawaii's Paradise Classic, a tournament featuring a four-team round-robin followed by championship and third-place games. SLU faces four opponents in tournaments at Evansville Feb. 21-23 and Kennesaw State Feb. 28-March 2. A game at Illinois March 7 precedes the Bills' final tournament, Purdue's three-team Boilermaker Classic March 8-9.
 
Saint Louis begins its 18-game home schedule March 11 against South Dakota State. Conference play gets underway with a bang March 15-16 as the Bills visit Dayton for a three-game series matching the 2024 A-10 Championship finalists and the two most recent A-10 regular-season champions (SLU 2023, Dayton 2024).
 
Fordham is the first conference opponent to visit the Billiken Sports Center March 22-23. Home games against Lindenwood March 19 and SIUE March 26 bracket the three-game set vs. the Rams. Saint Louis finishes the month with three A-10 games at Saint Joseph's March 29-30.
 
Four of the Billikens' next five conference series are at home, beginning with George Washington April 5-6 and Loyola Chicago (doubleheader) April 9. Following a trip to Rhode Island April 12-13, SLU welcomes Eastern Illinois for an April 16 single game before concluding its April home slate vs. George Mason April 18-19 and St. Bonaventure April 26-27. A series at Massachusetts May 3-4 wraps up the regular season.
 
George Washington will host the six-team, double-elimination A-10 Championship in Washington, D.C., May 7-10.
