IOWA CITY, Iowa – The 10th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes netted a 7-0 victory over Saint Louis on Sunday in Iowa City, Iowa.
The Bills are now 5-6 overall. Iowa improved to 8-3.
The Hawkeyes went on top with two goals in the first seven minutes of play, and tacked on three more in the second quarter to take a 5-0 lead into halftime.
Iowa scored twice more in the third quarter for the 7-0 final. The Hawkeyes outshot the Billikens 28-3 and had a 10-1 advantage in penalty corners.
The Billikens resume Atlantic 10 Conference play on Friday at the SLU FH Complex against La Salle for Senior Day. The match begins at 1 p.m., with the Senior Day ceremony taking place prior to the match.
