ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis swimming and diving won 20 of 24 events in a dual-meet sweep of Missouri-St. Louis Thursday night at Simon Recreation Center.
 
The Billiken men captured a 155-58 victory, while the Billiken women claimed a 154-64 win.
 
Ethan Hudock and Kyle Algrim led the Saint Louis men. Hudock won the 100 free (46.94) and anchored the winning 200 medley relay (1:32.77) and 200 free relay (1:25.07) teams. Algrim touched first in the 200 free (1:45.55) and 500 free (4:43.88).
 
Also winning individual events were Ben Mears, 1-meter diving (267.45); Tino Ferranti, 50 free (21.62); Eduardo Sanchez, 200 IM (1:56.46); Evan Crim, 100 back (52.22); and Brae Sanchez, 100 breast (56.38).
 
Logan Townsend joined Hudock on both relay squads. Crim and Brae Sanchez swam the 200 medley relay, and Tyler Williams and Frankie Adamo competed in the 200 free relay.
 
Tierney Kohl collected two victories for the Saint Louis women, claiming first place in the 200 IM (2:11.49) and 100 breast (1:05.85). Joining Kohl in the winner's circle were Olivia Fox, 1-meter diving (221.10); Izabel Schmidt, 50 free (24.91); Faith McAdam, 100 fly (59.44); Anya Brueggeman, 100 free (53.26); Meghan Eng, 100 back (58.65); and Sasha Jancekova, 500 free (5:15.45).
 
SLU won the 200 medley and 200 free relays, with Brueggeman and Sarah Dingus competing in both. They were joined by Eng and Kenna Cashman in the 200 medley (1:46.56), and by Schmidt and Hanna Whitney in the 200 free (1:38.12).
 
The Billikens compete in the IU Indy Invite on Saturday, Oct. 4.
