Saint Louis takes on the Dayton Flyers on Saturday night at Hermann Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
SOC-TOBER-FEST at Saturday night's game begins at 6 p.m. and lasts until kickoff. Fans 21 and older can enjoy free samples of Anheuser-Busch products at the northwest corner of Hermann Stadium, courtesy of Lohr Distributing. Presentation of valid ID is required.
Saturday is also Alumni Night. Former Billiken men's soccer players in attendance will be introduced at halftime. Prior to the game, members of the Billikens' 2000 Conference USA Championship squad will be introduced as they celebrate the 25th anniversary of their special season.
The Billikens enter Saturday's game 5-2-3 overall and 2-0-0 in A-10 play. Dayton is 3-1-5 overall and 2-0-1 in the league.
Saturday serves as a rematch of last year's A-10 Championship game, which was won by Dayton. The Flyers went on to advance to the third round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship.
Here are five additional facts in advance of Saturday's match vs. Dayton:
1 // SLU appears in all major college soccer polls this week. They are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches poll for a fifth straight week, checking in at No. 21. SLU is 15th in the College Soccer News poll and 24th in the Top Drawer Soccer poll.
2 // Nick Schramm was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week after scoring the game-winning tally in the Bills' 2-1 win last Saturday against La Salle. (read more)
3 //Â Saint Louis is unbeaten in their last 31 regular-season games (21-0-10) at Hermann Stadium, dating back to the 2022 campaign. SLU is 33-3-16 on its home field over the last five seasons including the postseason.
4 //Â The Billikens rank fifth in the nation in total attendance, as more than 16,000 fans have taken in a SLU game at Hermann Stadium. The games vs. La Salle (4,472) and SMU (4,097) both rank in the top 20 in single-game attendance this year.
5 //Â The Billikens own a 20-9-5 series advantage over the Flyers, though Dayton won both games last year. The first official game in SLU men's soccer history was against Dayton on Sept. 26, 1959.
