  • Saint Louis travels to Nashville for the Music City Classic. The Billikens will face SMU on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. and Stetson on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

  • Saint Louis fell 81-75 at Illinois State on Friday.
  • Four players finished in double figures for the first time this season. Three of those players were freshmen who all had career highs.
  • Alyssa Koerkenmeier recorded her first double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, she is the only freshman in the A-10 with a double-double this season.
  • Zya Nugent is averaging 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.
  • Alexia Nelson adds 13.5 points per contest.
  • The Billikens lead the Atlantic 10 with 5.5 blocks per game.
  • Koerkenmeier ranks first in the A-10 and 10th nationally with 16 total blocks.
  • She is also second in the league with 9.0 rebounds per game.
  • Head coach Rebecca Tillett is in her fourth season at Saint Louis and eighth overall. She guided the Billikens to their first Atlantic 10 tournament title and NCAA tournament appearance in 2022-23, and previously led Longwood to the 2021-22 Big South championship. Tillett holds a 54-55 record at SLU and a 105-123 career mark.
 
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
  • SMU is 1-4 on the year with its lone win against Grambling State, 96-70
  • Zahra King leads the Mustangs with 12.4 points per game, Tyi Skinner adds 10.3
  • Miriam Ibezim paces the team on the glass with 6.6 rebounds a game.
  • They are second in the ACC in steals per game with 12.6, led by Kyla Deck with 3.8.
  • SMU was picked to finish 14th in the year's ACC Preseason Poll.
