Billikens Place Four on All-Conference Teams

WASHINGTON – Four Billikens earned Atlantic 10 Conference postseason honors, as announced Wednesday by the league in advance of this week's A-10 Field Hockey Championship.

Olivia Smith was named second-team All-Conference, giving SLU back-to-back All-Conference selections (Josefina Perez last year) for the first time since 2008.

Macy Budd was named to the league's All-Rookie Team, the first Billiken to earn the honor since current senior Shaya Dry was tabbed All-Rookie in 2022.

And finally, the Billikens placed a program-record three student-athletes on the league's All-Academic team – Sierra Larson, Olivia Smith and Abby Vidas.

Smith, who returned to SLU for her sixth year, recorded a career-high six goals and added an assist to finish with a team-high-tying 13 points. She also anchored the Billikens' defensive structure from her midfield position. Academically, Smith is working toward a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at SLU.

Budd played in every game in the midfield for the Billikens and contributed on both sides of the ball. She registered five points (1G, 3A), including a goal and assist in the Billikens' win over Lincoln Memorial.

Larson, a nursing major, tied Smith for the team-lead with 13 points (6G, 1A). Larson scored game-winning goals at LMU and Bellarmine.

Vidas, a communication major, turned in nine points (3G, 3A) for SLU. One of her goals was the game-winning tally at A-10 regular-season champion. SLU was the only A-10 program to beat Richmond this season.

The Billikens finished their 2025 campaign with a 5-10 record. Five of their losses were by one goal, including a pair that went to shootouts.
