  • Those marks ranked as the second- and third-highest point totals by an Atlantic 10 player on opening day.
  • Freshman Alyssa Koerkenmeier grabbed 11 rebounds—the most by a Saint Louis freshman since Rachel Kent pulled down 14 in the 2019-20 season.
  • Koerkenmeier also recorded three blocks, tied for the fourth most by a Division I freshman on Monday night.
  • All four freshmen and all three transfers saw action in the season opener at Missouri State.
  • Koerkenmeier and Jahda Denis each earned their first collegiate start, while returner Hannah Wallace, the only starter back from last season, collected a career-high seven rebounds.
  • Head coach Rebecca Tillett enters her fourth season at Saint Louis and eighth overall. In 2022-23, she guided the Billikens to their first Atlantic 10 Tournament title and NCAA Tournament appearance. She previously led Longwood to the Big South championship in 2021-22. Tillett owns a 54-55 record at SLU and a 105-123 career mark.
