Abonnel Named Third-Team All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Saint Louis goalkeeper Jeremi Abonnel has been selected to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-America third-team, the coaches' organization announced Friday ahead of the College Cup semifinals.

Abonnel is the first Billiken to claim All-America status since Simon Becher and Kipp Keller were honored in 2021. Additionally, Abonnel is the first SLU goalkeeper named an All-American since Steve Fuchs in 1986.

A two-time Atlantic 10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, Abonnel has played every minute between the posts this season for the Billikens. He is tied for fifth in the country with 11 shutouts and is 15th in the NCAA in goals against average (0.72).

In three years with the Billikens, Abonnel has posted a 26-8-20 record, 0.85 goals against average, and 24 shutouts.
