2026 Schedule
2026 Roster
ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University softball coach Christy Connoyer has announced the Billikens' 54-game 2026 schedule, a slate that includes 12 regular-season home dates and three opponents who joined SLU in the 2025 NCAA Championship.
SLU will aim for a second consecutive Atlantic 10 Conference Championship title when it hosts the six-team double-elimination league tournament May 6-9. The Billikens won their first A-10 tournament crown to qualify for their first NCAA tournament appearance last season.
Four A-10 opponents, three of whom (Fordham, Dayton, Saint Joseph's) Saint Louis defeated in the 2025 A-10 Championship, visit the Billiken Sports Center. Also on the home docket is 2025 NCAA tourney qualifier Eastern Illinois, which claimed last year's Ohio Valley Conference regular-season and tournament championships.
Saint Louis' non-conference schedule features opponents from nine different leagues, including Atlantic Coast Conference member Pittsburgh.
"We are looking forward to our upcoming spring season and the challenging schedule it presents," Connoyer said. "As we begin out West and then return to the Midwest for our early-season tournaments, we know it will be good preparation for Atlantic 10 Conference play. There will be physical and strategic tests throughout the spring, and our combination of experience and youth will put us in a strong position to contend for a championship.
"Overall, our goal is to grow and improve each weekend to better understand our strengths and areas to improve before we enter the A-10 season," Connoyer said. "Each opponent provides us that opportunity, and we look to get stronger and build momentum each weekend."
The season begins Feb. 5-7 with a tournament in San Diego, where the Billikens will meet host UC San Diego, Wagner and Montana. The Skyhawk Invitational (Feb. 13-15) will see SLU take on tournament host UT Martin, Valparaiso and Mississippi Valley State.
The Bills will face perhaps their toughest non-conference test in Conway, Ark., where they square off twice with Southeastern Louisiana at the Michelle Short & Adam Brown Tournament (Feb. 20-22). The 2025 Lions posted a 50-16 record, won the Southland Conference tournament and were runners-up at the Baton Rouge Regional, eliminating host LSU along the way. Evansville and host Central Arkansas are SLU's other two opponents.
SLU's final regular-season tournament is the Colonel Classic (Feb. 26-28) in Richmond, Ky. The Billikens begin the event with a doubleheader vs. host Eastern Kentucky, the 2025 ASUN Championship runner-up. Saint Louis also takes on Pittsburgh and Bradley and plays the first of three games vs. SIUE, the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference regular-season and tournament runner-up. The Billikens (March 18) and Cougars (April 1) host each other later in the season.
Saint Louis kicks off A-10 play March 7-8 at George Washington, the site of its 2025 A-10 Championship triumph.
Saint Joseph's comes to town March 14-15 for the Billikens' first conference home series. SLU also hosts Rhode Island (March 28-29), Fordham (April 3-4) and defending regular-season champion Dayton (April 18-19) in A-10 three-game sets. In addition to George Washington, the Bills travel to Loyola Chicago (March 21-22), George Mason (April 11-12) and St. Bonaventure (April 25-26).
In addition to SIUE, Saint Louis will play home and away vs. Southeast Missouri (away March 11, home April 8) and Lindenwood (away March 25, home April 22).
The Eastern Illinois game is scheduled for April 15. The Billikens close the regular season May 1-2 with a three-game series at Belmont, the Missouri Valley Conference tournament champion and an NCAA Championship participant a year ago.
Saint Louis returns nine players from its 2025 team that registered a 34-24 overall record (second-most wins in program history). The Billikens finished second (18-7) in the A-10 regular-season standings before winning the A-10 Championship and advancing to the NCAA Championship.
Among the returnees is senior catcher/utility
Abby Mallo, who was a second-team All-Region selection, A-10 co-Player of the Year and A-10 Championship Most Outstanding Player a season ago. Mallo set an A-10 record and ranked fifth nationally with 82 RBIs in 2025, and her 20 home runs ranked 23rd nationally while tying the conference mark.
Also returning are junior pitcher
Isabel Royle, a 2025 A-10 Championship All-Tournament performer, and two A-10 All-Rookie selections in redshirt sophomore pitcher/utility
Anna Christ and sophomore catcher/pitcher
Scout Gallagher.
