ST. LOUIS – Student-athletes in the Saint Louis University Department of Athletics achieved an aggregate grade point average of 3.49 for the spring 2025 semester. The GPA encompasses SLU's 18 sports as well as the Billikens' cheer and dance teams.
"Congratulations to our Billikens for another outstanding year of academic achievement," Director of Athletics Chris May said. "The 3.49 GPA is another fantastic accomplishment for a driven group of Saint Louis student-athletes. We can't thank the University faculty enough for their unwavering support as they deliver a first-class education to the young women and men who wear the Billiken uniform and to all SLU students."
Leading the way was the Billiken softball team, which posted a 3.91 GPA for a second consecutive semester.
Also turning in GPAs above 3.5 were women's soccer (3.65), women's tennis (3.64), volleyball (3.64), women's track and field (3.63), field hockey (3.61), women's swimming and diving (3.61), men's swimming and diving (3.61), women's cross country (3.58), men's tennis (3.58) and the spirit teams (3.57).
