WASHINGTON - Saint Louis volleyball was tabbed for a sixth-place finish in the Atlantic 10 Conference preseason poll, which was announced Wednesday ahead of the start of the season on August 29.

Dayton was picked the favorite with 100 points and 10 first place votes, followed by VCU who collected 86 points. Last seasons A-10 Tournament Champion, Loyola Chicago was the coaches' pick to finish third (83), followed by Davidson (64), George Washington (54), Saint Louis (44), Duquesne (40), George Mason (38), Rhode Island (21) and Fordham (20).

The Billikens return seven players, including All-Rookie selection Kayla Jansen, from last year's squad that finished with an 11-12 record, including a 6-12 mark in A-10 play, and the sixth seed in the A-10 Championship.
