Rylee Howard's second goal of the season in the fifth minute held up as 23rd-ranked Saint Louis defeated Missouri 1-0 Sunday night at Hermann Stadium in the Billikens' 2025 home opener.
•The crowd of 4,097 was the third largest for a SLU women's soccer game at Hermann Stadium.
•Fighting a Missouri defender for possession deep on the left wing, Howard won the battle and sent the ball over the head of Tigers goalkeeper Kate Phillips and inside the far post.
•The Billikens improved to 2-1, while Missouri slipped to 1-1-1.
