WASHINGTON – Graduate student Alexia Nelson earned preseason Atlantic 10 All-Conference third-team honors, the league announced today in conjunction with Media Day in Pittsburgh.
 
The Billikens were picked to finish ninth in the conference race. The preseason all-conference teams and predicted order of finish were voted on by the league's 14 head coaches.
 
Nelson joined Saint Louis this offseason after playing at Towson in 2023-24, where she averaged 9.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
 
Last season, the Billikens finished 15-19 overall and 7-11 in A-10 play, placing 10th. Their season ended in the A-10 tournament quarterfinals against eventual champion George Mason.
