ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis swimming and diving celebrated Senior Day on Saturday as the Billikens hosted Omaha at Simon Recreation Center.
The Billikens fell 197-151 in the men's competition and 245-105 in the women's meet.
Brae Sanchez led the men's team, winning the 100 breast (56.48) and 50 breast (25.49) and joining
Evan Crim,
Drayton Beber and
Logan Townsend on the victorious 200 medley relay quartet (1:31.81).
Also finishing first for Saint Louis were Townsend in the 200 free (1:42.57),
Ben Mears in 1-meter diving (261.80),
Kyle Algrim in the 400 IM (4:13.48) and
Eduardo Sanchez in the 200 fly (1:56.03).
Touching first for the women's team were
Meghan Eng in the 100 back (58.60),
Tierney Kohl in the 200 breast (2:21.43) and
Anya Brueggeman in the 100 free (53.05).
The Billikens conclude the regular season Friday, Jan. 23, at Missouri-St. Louis.
