Billikens Post Double Victory at UMSL

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis swimming and diving concluded the regular season Friday night with a pair of victories at Missouri-St. Louis.
 
The Billiken men won 114-91, while the Billiken women prevailed 106-96.
 
Logan Townsend was a double winner for the SLU men, touching first in the 100 free (46.69) and 200 free (1:43.01).
 
Brae Sanchez and Kyle Algrim won individual events and were part of a victorious relay team. Sanchez captured the 100 breast (56.61), Algrim topped the field in the 1000 free (10:04.66), and the pair joined Evan Crim and Drayton Beber to win the 200 medley relay (1:34.43).
 
Zach Byars and Ben Militti contributed victories in the 100 back (53.50) and 500 free (4:48.59), respectively.
 
Meghan Eng and Kenna Cashman led the SLU women. Eng claimed the 100 back (58.21), Cashman touched first in the 100 breast (1:06.19), and the duo swam with Marissa Williams and Anya Brueggeman on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:47.96).
 
Faith McAdam collected a win in the 100 fly (58.91), and the 200 free relay squad of Brueggeman, Izabel Schmidt, Sarah Dingus and Hanna Whitney capped the meet by taking first in the 200 free relay (1:37.68).
 
The Billikens compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships Feb. 18-21 in Hampton, Va.
