This year marks the 30th anniversary of Saint Louis University's inaugural women's soccer season. As part of the recognition of this milestone, SLUBillikens.com is highlighting the program's 11 (eight individuals and three teams) Billiken Hall of Fame inductees.
Â
Jenny Kehl, a 2024 inductee, is this week's featured Hall of Fame member. More than two decades after her career concluded, Kehl still ranks among the Billikens' top five in career assists and points.

Her collegiate career began somewhat modestly, but by the time
Jenny Kehl played her last game in a Saint Louis uniform, she had amassed numbers that would stand the test of time.
Â
Kehl, who eventually would start all but one game of her SLU career, earned a spot in the Billikens' first XI for all 20 games as a freshman in 1999. She tallied 11 points on three goals and five assists and helped Saint Louis capture the Conference USA regular-season championship, its first conference title. Kehl was selected to the C-USA All-Freshman team.
Â
The Fort Collins, Colo., native caught fire in her sophomore campaign. Moving from the midfield to forward midway through the season, Kehl shot to the top of the Billikens' goals (nine) and points (career-high 25) charts while adding seven assists. She was rewarded with second-team All-Region and first-team All-Conference honors.
Â
The 2001 season saw Kehl reach the 20-point mark for a second consecutive year as she collected five goals and a league-leading 10 assists, nine of which came vs. C-USA opponents. She repeated on the All-Conference first team.
Â
As a senior, Kehl picked up where she left off the previous year by increasing her assist total to a Conference USA-best 12, and she netted five goals to lift her point total to 22. In the process, she became the first – and still only – Saint Louis women's soccer player to register a double-digit assist total in two different seasons, as well as the first in program history (and one of only five total) to post three or more 20-point campaigns. Kehl's first-team All-Conference nod made her the first Billiken women's soccer player to land on a conference top unit three times, and she was selected to the All-Region second team. Additionally, she became the first in team history to collect College Sports Communicators Academic All-America plaudits (second team).
Â
Upon graduation, Kehl held the school record of 34 assists, was tied for first with 78 points and was third with 22 goals. Today, she remains among the program's top five in assists (third) and points (tied for fifth), and her seven career game-winning assists are tied for ninth.
Â
Kehl was chosen to the Billikens' All-Decade Team in 2005, selected to SLU's 25th Anniversary Team in 2021 and inducted into the Billiken Hall of Fame in 2024.
