Sunday is Senior Day. Seniors Sierra Larson and Kerri O'Donnell will be recognized in a pregame ceremony.
ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
Saint Louis enters the weekend with a 4-7 overall record and a 1-2 mark in A10 play. SLU has won two in a row – a 3-2 A10 win at Lock Haven and a 3-0 home victory against Maryville. The win against Lock Haven was the first-ever win for the Bills on the Bald Eagles home turf.
Sierra Larson leads the Billikens offensively after scoring five goals over a two-match stretch that earned her A10 Offensive Player of the Week honors. Larson recorded a hat trick in Saint Louis' 6-0 victory over Mercyhurst – the first hat trick by a Billiken against a Division I foe since 1991 – and added two goals against Central Michigan. She has a team-leading eight goals on the season.
Brynn Newborn has four goals and two assists for 10 points. Freshmen Maddie Croghan and RB McGowan have two goals apiece. McGowan is the reigning A10 Rookie of the Week after recording an assist against Maryville.
Abby Schalow has played the majority of the minutes in goal and owns a 2.51 goals against average and 6.6 saves per game. O'Donnell was in the cage for SLU's last game, a 3-0 shutout win against Maryville.
Head coach Laura Hurff is in her second season at Saint Louis after serving as interim head coach last year. Assistant coach McKenna Sergi is in her first season on the Billiken sideline, while Gracie Burns serves as a graduate assistant coach.
ABOUT RICHMOND
The Spiders enter Friday's match with a 7-4 overall record and a 2-1 mark in league play. They defeated Davidson and La Salle and fell to Saint Joseph's in A10 action thus far.
Clara Larripa is the nation's leading goal scorer with 16 tallies on the year. She is a four-time A10 Offensive Player of the Week.
The Billikens defeated Richmond last season in Virginia, the Billikens' first win against Richmond in 24 tries.
