GAME DETAILS
•Ava Rademeyer's first collegiate career goal in the 20th minute broke a 1-1 deadlock, and Saint Louis held on for a 2-1 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over Saint Joseph's Thursday night at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.
•Now unbeaten in five consecutive outings, and a winner in three straight for the first time this season, SLU improved to 8-2-3 overall and remained in sole possession of first place in the A10 with a 4-0-1 league record at the midpoint of the conference slate. Saint Joseph's slipped to 6-3-4, 2-1-2.
•Hope Kim gave Saint Louis a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute, and Sarah Fisher netted an equalizer for Saint Joseph's in the 14th minute.
•Pepper Escher made three saves for the Billikens, including a stop of a Saint Joseph's penalty kick.
•Kim's goal was her fourth of the year. From 35 yards out, she dribbled into the box on the far right side, outmaneuvered a defender and tucked a left-footed shot inside the near post.
•Rademeyer's game-winner came on a corner kick and was assisted by Caroline Fowlkes, who collected her third helper of the season. She took a perfectly flighted ball and placed a header just inside the near post from five yards away.
