Complete Day 1 Results
HAMPTON, Va. – Saint Louis swimmers captured a medal and set three school records Wednesday on day one of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at Hampton Virginia Aquaplex.
The men's 800 free relay team of
Logan Townsend,
Kyle Algrim,
Tyler Williams and
Daniel Jekov finished third in 6:35.03 to claim the bronze medal, SLU's first A-10 Championships relay medal since 2019.
All three school marks were set in the women's 200 medley relay, in which SLU placed eighth. The school-record time of 1:42.21 included program bests by
Meghan Eng in the 50 back split (25.94) and
Kenna Cashman in the 50 breast split (28.21). Eng and Cashman were joined by
Sarah Dingus and
Izabel Schmidt.
Ben Mears scored in men's 1-meter diving, finishing 10th (240.20).
The men's 200 medley relay quartet of
Evan Crim,
Brae Sanchez,
Drayton Beber and
Colton Mosley finished sixth (1:28.80). The women's 800 free relay squad of
Anya Brueggeman,
Faith McAdam,
Kamila Nowak and
Karis Reynaga placed 10th (7:35.25).
The A-10 Championships meet continues Thursday.
