Complete Day 3 Results
HAMPTON, Va. –
Brae Sanchez earned a silver medal in the men's 100 breast, and Saint Louis set three school records on day three of the Atlantic 10 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at Hampton Virginia Aquaplex.
Sanchez, who earned Saint Louis' first individual conference medal since 2022 and the program's first individual silver medal since 2019, covered the distance in 53.81.
Colton Mosley also made the championship final, finishing sixth (54.60), while
Tino Ferranti (10th, 55.22) and
Drayton Beber (13th, 55.42) scored as well.
Hanna Whitney led the Billiken women, swimming a school-record 1:02.93 to place sixth in the 100 breast.
The men's 400 medley relay team of
Evan Crim, Sanchez, Beber and
Logan Townsend finished fourth with a school-record clocking of 3:14.56. Sanchez also set a school mark with his 100 breast split time of 53.53.
The SLU men produced two scorers in two events. Townsend placed sixth (1:37.99) and
Tyler Williams was 13th (1:39.48) in the 200 free.
Kyle Algrim finished seventh (3:56.39) and
Noah Benton landed in 13th (3:58.69) in the 400 IM.
Ben Mears qualified for the championship final in 3-meter diving and finished eighth (272.20). Also scoring for SLU were Crim in the men's 100 back (11th, 48.85);
Meghan Eng in the women's 100 back (13th, 55.90); and the women's 400 medley relay team of Eng,
Kenna Cashman,
Sarah Dingus and
Anya Brueggeman (eighth, 3:47.99).
The A-10 Championships meet concludes Saturday.
