WHAT'S ON TAP?

  • Saint Louis heads to Dayton, Ohio, for a showdown with the Dayton Flyers at UD Arena on Tuesday. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
  • It's the second-to-last road game for the Billikens. SLU plays its next two games at home – Saturday, Feb. 28, against Duquesne and Wednesday, March 4, against Loyola Chicago – before the concluding the regular season at George Mason on Saturday, March 7.

  • Tuesday's game will be televised on FanDuel Sports Network and KPLR STL 11. The telecast will also be simulcast on ESPN+. Alex Mikos and Christine Szabo-Mikos will call the action.
  • 104.1 FM / 1120 AM KMOX is the home for Billiken Basketball on the radio. Billiken Hall of Famers and longtime SLU men's basketball radio partners Bob Ramsey and Earl Austin Jr. will call the action for all SLU games, both at home and on the road. Billiken Basketball sends a special salute to Rammer, who is in his 40th season as the radio voice of SLU hoops, and Austin who is in year No. 35. The duo were recently honored with the Burnes-Broeg Award at the Missouri Athletic Club's Jack Buck Awards.

  • Saint Louis is No. 23 in this week's AP Top 25, the Billikens' sixth straight week in the rankings.
  • The Billikens are 25-2 for the second time in school history (2013-14). A win Tuesday at Dayton would put the Bills at 26-2 for the first time ever.
  • Head coach Josh Schertz was recently named to the Naismith Men's College Coach of the Year Watch List.
  • The Billikens lead the nation in scoring margin at +22.0 and are fifth nationally in scoring offense (90.1 ppg).
  • Scoring 90.1 ppg, the Bills are on pace to break the A-10 team scoring record of 87.3 ppg, set by West Virginia in 1990-91.
  • SLU is second in the NCAA in 3FG% (.408). Its 306 3-pointers are already No. 2 in a single season in school history. 
  • Defensively, the Bills lead the NCAA FG% defense (.363). They are third nationally in 3FG% defense (.277).
  • SLU is also No. 8 in the NCAA in rebound margin (+9.5). It leads the NCAA in defensive rpg (31.0).

  • Robbie Avila leads SLU in scoring. He ranks first among Division I centers in assists per game (4.2) and 3s made per game (1.8). Avila's 1,886 career points are No. 9 among all active players in NCAA Division I. He needs two treys for 200 in his career.
  • Trey Green averages 11.6 ppg and leads the A-10 in 3-pointers made per game (3.08) and 3FG% (.468, third in the NCAA). His 80 3-pointers are already No. 8 on the Billikens' single-season list.
  • Ishan Sharma is second in the A-10 in 3FG% (.445, eighth in the NCAA) and fifth in 3s made per game (2.56).

ABOUT DAYTON

  • The Dayton Flyers enter Tuesday's game 18-9 overall and 9-5 in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
  • Amael L'Etang is the reigning A-10 co-Player of the Week after averaging 19.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in wins over George Washington and Duquesne. He is one of three Flyers averaging double figures with 11.9 ppg, and he leads the team with 5.8 rebounds per contest.
  • Javon Bennett leads Dayton with 15.9 ppg and is the top assists man with 82. He has buried a team-high 61 triples and shoots better than 90 percent (94-104) from the foul line.
  • De'Shayne Montgomery averages 14.5 ppg and is second in the A-10 (10th nationally) with 65 steals.
  • The Flyers are the top team in the conference in forcing turnovers (15.3 per game). They lead the A-10 in steals per game (8.9) and turnover margin (3.3).
