BILLIKENS CONCLUDE TOURNAMENT SLATE AT EASTERN KENTUCKY
·Saint Louis plays its final regular-season tournament of 2026 when the Billikens travel to Richmond, Ky., for Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic Friday-Saturday, Feb. 27-28.
·SLU will play one game each vs. Bradley (Friday, 10:30 a.m.), Eastern Kentucky (Friday, 1 p.m.), Pittsburgh (Saturday, 9 a.m.) and SIUE (Saturday, 11:30 a.m.). All times are Central.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
·Saint Louis leads the Atlantic 10 Conference in doubles per game (2.20, 13th), sacrifice flies (six, 48th) and walks (56, 49th). The Billikens are second in the league in batting average (.278), home runs per game (0.53), RBIs per game (5.13), slugging percentage (.442) and triples per game (0.27, 76th), and they rank third in the A-10 in on-base percentage (.375), runs per game (5.53) and shutouts (two, 34th).

Karsen Jany carries a team-high .378 batting average, followed by

·Now in her 16th season at the helm, 2023 and 2025 A-10 Coach of the Year
Christy Connoyer owns 393 Saint Louis victories. The Billikens' 95 wins from 2023 to 2025 are the most during a three-year span in program history.
·In addition to last year's A-10 Championship triumph and NCAA Tournament appearance, Connoyer guided the 2023 Billikens to the program's first regular-season conference title.
SCOUTING BRADLEY
·Missouri Valley Conference member Bradley brings a 4-10 record into the weekend.
·The Braves feature two returning second-team All-Conference players in senior infielders/utilities Kierston McCoy and Ashley Breeding.
·Bradley ranks 48th nationally with 25 doubles. McCoy leads the way with seven, good for 12th in the nation.
·The Braves have scored 91 runs in their 14 games, a 6.5 average. McCoy (team-high four home runs) and Breeding are the top run producers with 13 RBIs apiece, followed by sophomore infielder Olivia Turner with 12.
·Sophomore infielder Morgan Schlosser carries a team-best .408 batting average, followed by senior utility Austin Comstock (.362) and Turner (.304).
SCOUTING EASTERN KENTUCKY
·After going 38-16 overall (17-5 ASUN) and reaching the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship final a year ago, Eastern Kentucky is off to a slow start at 4-9. One of the Colonels' losses was a 3-0 setback vs. Atlantic 10 Conference member Rhode Island.
·Junior utility Kennedy Drafton (first team) and sophomore infielder Jada McLeod (third team) earned All-Conference honors a year ago.
·McLeod is the Colonels' top offensive threat with team highs in batting average (.320) and RBIs (nine). Junior outfielder Reese Knox owns a .300 batting mark, while junior outfielder Makayla Mathis hits .286 with a .512 on-base percentage.
SCOUTING PITTSBURGH
·Pittsburgh of the Atlantic Coast Conference is 9-6 after winning six of its last eight outings.
·Senior outfielder Alena Ball, a transfer from A-10 member George Mason, has a team-high .408 batting average, followed by graduate infielder Tieley Vaughn (.378), freshman outfielder Addison Toczek (.375) and graduate catcher KK Esparza (.355).
·The Panthers rank 11th nationally with 35 stolen bases. Vaughn has 10 steals and junior pitcher/outfielder Ahmari Braden has eight to rank 18th and 33rd, respectively, in the nation.
·Esparza leads Pitt with four home runs and shares the team's RBIs lead (11) with freshman infielder Gracie Helton and freshman catcher/infielder Calle Henne.
·A deep pitching staff is led by graduate right-hander Kyra Pittman (3-0, 1.63 ERA), whose 0.83 WHIP is good for 31st in the nation. Sophomore left-hander Bekah Duck is 2-2 with a 2.69 ERA.
SCOUTING SIUE
·SIUE, a member of the Ohio Valley Conference, boosted its record to 6-9 after winning four of five games at last weekend's East Texas A&M tournament.
·The 2025 Cougars, who reached the OVC Championship final, were 32-22 overall and 19-6 in conference play.
·Sophomore right-handed pitcher Avery Arwood was the 2025 OVC Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-Conference selection.
·Sophomore infielder Raegan Duncan tops the SIUE batting chart with a .342 average, while junior outfielder Abby Harvell hits .333.
·Freshman right-hander Mia Volpert has been the workhorse of the pitching staff, posting a 4-3 record and a 3.27 ERA.
UP NEXT FOR THE BILLIKENS
·The Billikens begin A-10 play at George Washington March 7-8. Saturday's doubleheader and Sunday's single game start at 11 a.m. Central.
