BILLIKENS FACE SAINT JOSEPH'S IN SEASON'S FIRST HOME GAMES
·Saint Louis (8-14, 1-2 A-10) plays at the Billiken Sports Center for the first time in 2026 this weekend, hosting a three-game Atlantic 10 Conference series against Saint Joseph's (9-10, 3-0 A-10).
·An unfavorable weather forecast for Sunday has shifted the series to Friday and Saturday. The Bills and Hawks will play a single game Friday at 6:30 p.m. and a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
·Saint Louis opened league play by going 1-2 at George Washington last weekend.
·Karsen Jany tops the Billikens' batting average chart with a .333 mark, followed by Abby Ulsas at .324. Jany and Ulsas are tied for the A-10 lead and tied for 33rd in the nation with nine doubles apiece.
·Abby Mallo has team highs of four home runs and 16 RBIs and leads four players who have a double-digit RBI total. Ulsas has 14, while Jany and Anna Christ (three home runs) have 13 apiece.
·Ulsas leads the A-10 and is 19th nationally with 2.68 assists per game.
·Mallo has a league-high 19 walks and ranks 23rd in the nation with 0.86 walks per game.
·Isabel Royle has a team-high four victories in the circle, while Christ carries a team-best 3.22 ERA.

HEAD COACH CHRISTY CONNOYER
·Now in her 16th season at the helm, 2023 and 2025 A-10 Coach of the Year Christy Connoyer owns 395 Saint Louis victories. The Billikens' 95 wins from 2023 to 2025 are the most during a three-year span in program history.
·In addition to last year's A-10 Championship triumph and NCAA Tournament appearance, Connoyer guided the 2023 Billikens to the program's first regular-season conference title.
 
SCOUTING SAINT JOSEPH'S
·Saint Joseph's began conference play last weekend by sweeping Rhode Island in Philadelphia.
·The Hawks played a challenging non-conference schedule that included North Carolina, Boston College, Indiana and Florida Atlantic.
·Saint Louis took three of four from Saint Joseph's last year, winning the regular-season series 2-1 and defeating the Hawks in an A-10 Championship elimination game.
·Senior outfielder Riley York is second in the A-10 and among the top 100 in the nation with a .449 batting average. York also has 15 RBIs.
·Junior pitcher/outfielder Julia Shearer, a transfer from Maryland, has contributed at the plate and in the circle. Shearer bats .392 with team highs of 18 RBIs and six doubles and is among the top 50 in the nation in strikeouts-to-walks ratio (4.83) and fewest walks per seven innings (1.27).
·Freshman infielder Elyssa Hasapis carries a .327 batting average, and three other regulars hit between .283 and .293 to help the Hawks to a .296 team batting mark.
·Seniors Jules Scogna (2-0, 2.66 ERA) and Taylor Trowbridge (3-2, 3.10 ERA) anchor the pitching staff.
