FOUR GAMES ON BILLIKENS' AGENDA THIS WEEK
·Saint Louis (14-19, 6-6 A-10) plays a midweek non-conference game and a crucial Atlantic 10 Conference series this week.
·The Billikens travel to SIUE (14-20) Wednesday, April 1, for a 6 p.m. first pitch. A-10 preseason favorite Fordham (13-17, 6-6 A-10) visits the Billiken Sports Center Friday (noon doubleheader) and Saturday (noon single game).
·Midway through its 24-game conference schedule, SLU is tied with Fordham, Dayton and George Washington for third place in the A-10 behind Saint Joseph's (7-2) and Loyola Chicago (6-3).
·The SLU-Fordham series is a rematch of last year's Atlantic 10 Championship final round. After dropping a 6-5 decision to Fordham in their opening game of the tournament, the Billikens won twice in the elimination bracket before defeating the Rams 3-2 (eight innings) and 4-3 on Championship Saturday to capture the league's automatic NCAA Tournament bid.
·Saint Louis and SIUE played twice earlier this season. The Billikens blanked the Cougars 3-0 in St. Louis March 18, and SIUE prevailed 8-3 at Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic Feb. 28.
