BILLIKENS OPEN CONFERENCE PLAY AT GEORGE WASHINGTON
·Saint Louis kicks off its 24-game Atlantic 10 Conference slate with a three-game series at George Washington March 6-7. Saturday's doubleheader and Sunday's single game start at 11 a.m. Central.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
·Abby Ulsas leads Saint Louis in batting average (.328), hits (21), RBIs (14), doubles (eight), triples (three), runs (17) and assists (47). Ulsas is ninth in triples, 31st in doubles and 42nd in assists nationally, leading the A-10 in all three categories.
·Karsen Jany checks in with a .321 batting mark. Seven of Jany's 18 hits are doubles.
·Anna Christ is hitting .300 with three home runs and 13 RBIs. Christ also owns a team-best 3.02 ERA and has issued just 1.59 walks per seven innings.
·Abby Mallo leads the Billikens in walks (17) and on-base percentage (.449) and ranks 20th nationally with a league-best 0.89 walks per game. Mallo has three homers and 12 RBIs.
·Isabel Royle has a team-high three victories in the circle.
·The Billikens rank 40th in the nation with 1.84 doubles per game.

HEAD COACH CHRISTY CONNOYER
·Now in her 16th season at the helm, 2023 and 2025 A-10 Coach of the Year Christy Connoyer owns 394 Saint Louis victories. The Billikens' 95 wins from 2023 to 2025 are the most during a three-year span in program history.
·In addition to last year's A-10 Championship triumph and NCAA Tournament appearance, Connoyer guided the 2023 Billikens to the program's first regular-season conference title.
 
SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON
·George Washington, which was 33-21 overall and 16-10 in the A-10 (fourth place) a year ago, enters the weekend with a 9-5 record.
·SLU and GW played one common non-conference opponent. The Billikens (5-3) and Revolutionaries (13-0) defeated Wagner.
·GW features three players who earned 2025 A-10 postseason honors. Senior outfielder Ashley Corpuz was a first-team All-Conference selection, while sophomore infielders Kaylee Layfield and Emi Todoroki were named to the All-Rookie team.
·Junior outfielder Paige Hayward leads the offense with a .366 batting average. Hayward's eight doubles rank 31st in the nation and have led GW to 19th nationally with 2.00 doubles per game.
·Freshman infielders Reese Ferrel and Jazlene Ramos have made a quick impact, batting .310 and .308, respectively.
·Corpuz and senior pitcher/utility Emma Fales lead the Revolutionaries with nine RBIs apiece.
·GW has four pitchers who have at least two wins, led by junior Cece Smith (3-2, 2.33 ERA) and Fales (2-0, 2.80 ERA).
·The Revs rank 48th nationally in fielding percentage (.974), committing just 10 errors in 14 games.
 
UP NEXT FOR THE BILLIKENS
·SLU plays a single game at Southeast Missouri State Wednesday, March 11, before hosting A-10 rival Saint Joseph's for a home-opening three-game series Saturday-Sunday, March 14-15.
