THE BASICS
•Saint Louis overcame an early 4-0 deficit and defeated George Washington 6-4 in game one of Saturday's Atlantic 10 Conference doubleheader.
•George Washington won the nightcap 6-0.
•In the opener, Abby Mallo homered and recorded four RBIs, Karsen Jany smacked a two-run home run, and Isabel Royle went the distance in the circle.
 
GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•George Washington scored once in the first inning and three times in the second.
•SLU pulled even in the third inning, taking advantage of a GW error to score four unearned runs. Jany and Mallo delivered two-run home runs.
•Mallo's two-out, two-run single in the seventh put the Billikens in front, and Royle worked around a leadoff double in the bottom of the inning to complete the victory.
 
GAME 1 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Jany added a double for a two-hit game.
•Abby Ulsas doubled and singled.
•Scout Gallagher had a single.
•Royle struck out five and evened her record at 4-4.
 
GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•GW plated two runs in the first and added single tallies in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth.

•Gallagher collected two singles.
•Anna Rolla singled.
