Billikens Sign Ikpotokin

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis women's basketball head coach Rebecca Tillett has announced the signing of Naomi Ikpotokin for the 2026-27 season.

Ikpotokin is a 6-foot-3 center who currently plays for Capital Courts Academy in Ontario. She averaged 6.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game this past season.

"Naomi has a light about her that is valuable in any team environment," Tillett said. "She brightens the team's demeanor with her positive outlook on life. When she walks into a gym, she decides to make it a great day. She has a strong belief in the importance of disciplined preparation. With the international schedule of her high school team, Naomi has guarded and disrupted some of the top recruits in her class in both the U.S. and Canada. She will add impact with her size, length, ability to guard multiple positions, and tenacity. She is a multi-sport athlete with international experience in track."

A native of Portlaoise, Ireland, Ikpotokin has emerged as a dominant defensive presence in the post during her first season with Capital Courts. She leads her team in rebounds and blocked shots, showcasing her ability to control the glass and protect the rim.

Ikpotokin is also an accomplished track and field athlete. She was the Ireland national champion in the 200 meters, posting a personal-best time of 26.97 as an under-14 competitor. She also competed on a national championship 4x100-meter relay team and was a three-time national runner-up in the indoor 60 meters (8.18 top time).

When it came to choosing Saint Louis, Ikpotokin said, "I love the coaches, teammates and environment, and I trust the coaches to develop me."

No stranger to the Atlantic 10 Conference, Ikpotokin's brother is a freshman on the St. Bonaventure men's basketball team. She plans to major in neuroscience at Saint Louis.
