BILLIKENSĀ CONCLUDE REGULAR SEASON WITH NON-CONFERENCE GAMES AT BELMONT
Ā·Saint Louis (23-24, 13-10 Atlantic 10) finishes the regular season in Nashville, Tenn., with single non-conference contests against Belmont (35-11, 21-5 Missouri Valley) Friday and Saturday, May 1-2. Friday's first pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., while Saturday's game begins at 1 p.m.
Ā·The BillikensĀ have clinched a spot in the six-team A-10 Championship, scheduled for Wednesday-Saturday, May 6-9, at the Billiken Sports Center. Belmont leads the Missouri Valley Conference.
Ā·While Saint Louis is assured of competing in the A-10 Championship, its place in the final standings and tournament seeding will not be determined until the conclusion of the final conference games on Sunday.

Ā·Belmont is in its fourth year in the Missouri Valley Conference after competing in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Ā·The Bruins are No. 45 in the NCAA Division I Ratings Percentage Index and are receiving votes in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25.
Ā·The 2025 Bruins finished second in the MVC regular-season standings before winning the MVC Tournament and reaching the NCAA Tournament.
Ā·Redshirt-senior left-hander Maya Johnson (24-2, 0.71 ERA), a National Fastpitch Coaches Association first-team All-American and the MVC Pitcher of the Year in 2025, is one of the nation's top hurlers. Johnson leads the nation in ERA, WHIP (0.68), strikeouts per seven innings (13.1), strikeout-to-walk ratio (11.03 to 1), shutouts (12) and complete games (26). She ranks fourth in victories – including wins over SEC teams Georgia and Mississippi State – sixth in fewest hits allowed per seven innings (3.6) and 14th in fewest walks allowed per seven innings (1.19). Also on Johnson's resume is a 1-0 loss to then-No. 1 Tennessee.
Ā·At the plate, sophomore infielder Rylee Spindler leads an offense that carries a .298 batting average, a .469 slugging percentage and a .385 on-base percentage. Spindler's .446 batting average ranks 37th nationally, and she also leads the Bruins with 36 RBIs, 13 doubles, a .649 slugging percentage and a .503 on-base percentage.
Ā·Other offensive leaders are senior infielder Nicole Hughes (.372/.636/.491, team-high seven home runs, 30 RBIs); sophomore outfielder Maddy Balsiger (.329, 23 RBIs); sophomore infielder Madison Dolecki (.300, six home runs, 28 RBIs); senior catcher Brenna Blume (six home runs, 27 RBIs); and freshman infielder Lydia Vanderwoude (11 doubles, six triples, four home runs).
