WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ben Cherico was named the Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced on Monday.
 
Cherico threw a complete game shut out on Friday afternoon at Fordham. He had five strikeouts and only gave up one extra base hit.
 
This is his second complete shutout of the season. He is the only player in DI to have done that this season. Cherico has had five outings in conference play where he did not allow an earned run.
