ST. LOUIS – The Billikens dropped a 4-1 decision to Richmond on Thursday night at the Billiken Sports Center.
Richmond took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning before Saint Louis answered in the bottom half of the frame when
Hank Gomric delivered a sacrifice fly to score
Krew Bond.
The Spiders added a run in the fourth inning and two more in the seventh to secure the win.
Loren Georger turned in a career-high 6.0 innings and recorded seven strikeouts.
