Billikens Announce Three Games for 2026-27

SLU announces three home-and-home series beginning this season

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis announced three games for the 2026-27 season today, the first contests in home-and-home series that will begin this season.

Saint Louis will host High Point on Sunday, Nov. 15, and DePaul on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Chaifetz Arena. SLU will travel to Moraga, Calif., in the Bay Area to take on Saint Mary's on Friday, Nov. 20. The locations will be reversed for the return games during the 2027-28 season.

High Point is coming off back-to-back NCAA Championship appearances and has won two consecutive Big South Tournament championships. The Panthers are 87-20 over the past three seasons. SLU and High Point have met once before, with the Billikens earning a 67-55 victory at Chaifetz Arena on Nov. 20, 2019.

Saint Mary's has made five straight NCAA Tournament appearances. The Gaels are coached by first-year head coach Mickey McConnell, a former Saint Mary's player and associate head coach who has been instrumental in the program's success. This will be only the second meeting between the two Jesuit institutions and the first in 80 years.

DePaul finished 16-16 overall and 8-12 in the Big East last season, ending the year No. 101 in the final NET rankings. The Blue Demons are guided by third-year head coach Chris Holtmann. This will be the 62nd meeting all-time between the two teams and the first since 2008. The Billikens and Blue Demons were conference rivals in Conference USA (1995-2005), the Great Midwest Conference (1991-95) and the Midwestern Collegiate Conference (1979-91). The series began in the 1920s, with DePaul leading the all-time series 34-27.

The Billikens return nine players, including three All-Conference performers, from last year's squad that posted a school-record 29 wins, shared the Atlantic 10 regular-season title and reached the second round of the NCAA Championship.
