THE BASICS
•Saint Louis was eliminated from the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship Thursday, falling 4-2 to Dayton and 6-3 to Saint Joseph's.
 
GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•Saint Louis grabbed a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning when Karsen Jany led off with her fourth home run of the season.
•Dayton answered right away by scoring three times in the fourth.
•The Flyers tallied an insurance run in the sixth.
•In the seventh, the Billikens took advantage of two walks and three wild pitches to score a run, bringing the tying run to the plate before Dayton nailed down the win.
 
GAME 1 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Jany added a single for a two-hit game.
•Kate Proffitt doubled, while Bella Stephens, Ava Wombles and Anna Rolla had a single apiece.
 
GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•After Saint Joseph's went on top 1-0 in the top of the third, SLU pulled even in its half of the frame. Rolla led off with a single, and Jany delivered a one-out RBI double.
•The fourth inning saw the Billikens take a 3-1 lead. Proffitt led off with her second home run of the season. Stephens was hit by a pitch, and following Wombles' sacrifice, Sophia Boente was hit by a pitch. Rolla's hot shot deflected off the pitcher for an infield single that loaded the bases, and Stephens scored on Abby Ulsas' groundout.
•Saint Joseph's cut the margin in half with a sixth-inning run and rallied for four runs in the seventh.
 
GAME 2 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Jany and Proffitt each added a single to join Rolla with two-hit games.
•Ulsas and Anna Christ recorded a double and a single, respectively.
