Series History	First Meeting

Saint Louis kicks off its men's soccer season on Thursday night when it hosts Seattle at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

It's the first of two consecutive home games for the Bills to open the 2026 campaign. No. 15 SMU comes to town on Monday, August 24, for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

The Billikens, ranked No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll, return 21 players from the 2025 squad that went 13-3-8 overall and captured A-10 regular-season and tournament championships. SLU advanced to the Men's College Cup for the first time since 1997. The Billikens welcome eight new players (five transfers and three freshmen) to the 2026 roster.

Seattle, which is in its second season competing in the West Coast Conference (WCC), finished 4-7-6 last season. In his three seasons at Seattle, head coach Nate Daligcon has led the Redhawks to two NCAA Tournament appearances and a 28-15-13 record.

2 // Saint Louis was the unanimous pick to win the 2026 Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer title in balloting conducted by the A10's head coaches. In addition, four Billikens earned spots on the 11-player preseason All-Conference squad – forward Theo Franca and defenders Luke Adams, JC Cortez and Carlos Leatherman. (Read more).

3 // Saint Louis men's soccer newcomers Luke Adams and Lucas McPartlin have been recognized by Top Drawer Soccer in its 2026 Preseason Best XI teams. In Top Drawer Soccer's Men's National Top 100 player rankings, Adams is ranked No. 24. Sophomore Theo Franca ranks No. 74, while sophomore Guilherme Gomes is No. 82.

4 // SLU head coach Kevin Kalish, a three-time A-10 Coach of the Year, is in his ninth season at SLU and 15th overall as a collegiate head coach. Kalish is 82-34-35 during his time at SLU and 131-80-49 in his career.
