FIRST SERVE
Saint Louis travels to SIUE for its final exhibition on Saturday, August 22 at 6 p.m. at First Community Arena in Edwardsville. The Billikens open the regular season on Friday, August 28 against Buffalo in the Billiken Invitational.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
Saint Louis enters year four under head coach Andrea Beaty-Cain. The Billikens went 13-16 last season with a 10-5 record inside Chaifetz Pavilion. Jetta Brenning, Kayla Jansen and Tamia Maddox return after starting all 29 matches last season. Brenning was named Second-Team All-Conference and was joined on the All-Rookie Team by Ellie Rink. All five of SLU's top points leaders return.
 
SLU returns nine players in total from last year's squad and welcomes four newcomers (two freshmen and two transfers).
 
ABOUT THE COUGARS
SIUE was picked to finish sixth in the Ohio Valley Preseason Poll. The Cougars returned 10 players from last year's squad, including Sophie Robinson and Vienna Elliot who were selected for the OVC Watch List. Four freshmen and three transfers help round out the roster. Last season, SIUE had a 12-18 record with a 7-11 record in OVC play.
