GAME DETAILS

Audrey Smith recorded a goal and an assist,
Leah Simpson collected her first collegiate game-winning goal, and Saint Louis shut down Indiana 2-0 Sunday afternoon at IU's Jerry Yeagley Field.
•SLU, which extended its unbeaten streak to four games, improved to 3-1-1. Indiana slipped to 2-2-1.
•The Billikens scored the only goal they would need shortly after intermission.
Hope Kim dropped the ball off inside the penalty area to Smith, who was challenged by the Indiana goalkeeper. From just outside the six-yard box, Smith sent a perfect cross to Simpson on the left side for an easy tap-in to an empty net at the 48:06 mark.
•Saint Louis netted an insurance goal in the 80th minute.
Caroline Chier lifted a free kick from near the left touchline to the top of the six. Following touches by both teams in a pinball-like exchange,
Ava Rademeyer received a deflection and flicked the ball to Smith, who banged it past a diving IU defender into an empty net.

Pepper Escher, who went the distance between the posts in her first collegiate start, made one save in posting the first victory and solo shutout of her collegiate career. The clean sheet was SLU's third of the season.

•The Billikens defeated the Hoosiers for a fourth consecutive time and improved their series lead to 4-1-1.
•Saint Louis held Indiana, which entered the game averaging 16.8 total shots and 7.3 shots on goal, to four total shots and one shot on frame.
•The Bills improved their record to 3-0 when scoring first.

Audrey Smith's goal was her team-leading fourth of the season, and her assist was her first of the year. Smith also leads the team with nine points.
