sophomore, was the staff ace for coach Hendrickson's Billikens...notched a 5-6
record with 46 strikeouts to only 21 walks with a 3.05 ERA, eighth lowest in
the A-10...against Fontbonne (Coach Hendrickson's former team) threw 6.0 innings
of shutout baseball, allowing two hits and three strikeouts...threw the Bills
only complete game of the season at Rhode Island, allowing eight hits and one
run with three strikeouts...had the best game of the season against Fordham,
throwing 8.2 innings of shutout baseball with seven hits and a season-high 10
strikeouts to no walks...Ended the season against La Salle with eight hits spread
over 7.2 innings and seven strikeouts...
2010 • Freshman
Selected a 2010 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American ... named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year ... posted a 9-6 record with 72 strikeouts and a 4.71 ERA ... hurled six complete games ... in conference games, went 6-2 with a 2.93 ERA ... against A-10 foes, had 40 strikeouts while allowing just 12 walks ... started the NCAA Tournament game against Illinois State ... won the A-10 Championship opener versus Fordham ... went the distance, struck out a career-high nine batters and allowed only one run in the critical opener against Dayton May 20 ... was the winner at La Salle ... surrendered just two earned runs versus St. Bonaventure in recording the complete-game win ... struck out six but did not figure into the decision at Fordham ... tossed a three-hit complete game against Temple, the second straight outing he had gone the distance ... notched eight Ks and allowed only two earned runs at Saint Joseph's in recording the victory ... scattered six hits and did not give up a run in seven innings for the win over Xavier ... struck out eight while working seven frames for the triumph over Evansville ... notched four strikeouts in seven innings for his first collegiate win in the game at Central Arkansas.
