Split time as a backstop during his first season on the Billikens, garnering 25 starts...finished season with a .265 average, .364 on-base and .386 slugging with one home run, 17 RBIs and 13 runs...went 3 for 4 against in-state rival Missouri State, beginning a three-game hitting streak where he went 5 of 8 with his only round-tripper of the season...knocked in four RBIs against eventual A-10 champs Charlotte...

Hit .324 as the Volunteers' everyday catcher ... tied for the team lead in doubles with 14 and drove in 50 runs to rank second on the squad ... slugged .500 and posted a .408 on-base percentage ... in his freshman year, batted .242 in 37 games, belting three home runs and registering 24 RBIs.
