Biography

2020-21 • Senior
• Started in 19 games.
• Averaged 9.2 points and 7.4 rebounds.
• Led the Billikens with 26 blocked shots.
• In the SLU record book (through 2020-21), is first in career blocks, fifth in career rebounds, and 22nd in career points.
• In his season debut against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, went 7-of-8 from the field for 15 points while adding a career-best six assists.
• Turned in 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting in the home game against Dayton.
• Went for a season-high 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds at VCU.
• Scored 15 points and finished a rebound shy of a double-double in the home victory against Dayton.
• Notched his lone double-double of the season in the NIT against Mississippi State, scoring 17 points (8-13 shooting) while pulling down 10 rebounds.
• Twice hauled in a season-high 13 rebounds – vs. NC State and vs. Rhode Island.

2019-20 • Junior
• Second-team All-Conference selection (Atlantic 10).
• A-10 All-Defensive team.
• Named a finalist for the Karl Malone Award, given to the nation’s top power forward.
• Averaged a double-double of 12.4 ppg and 10.4 rpg. 
• Broke the SLU single-season record with 77 blocked shots.
• Became the Billikens’ career leader in blocked shots.
• Among the active leaders in the NCAA with 202 (and counting) career blocked shots.
• First in the A-10 and 20th in the NCAA in rebounds per game.
• Second in the league with 12 double-doubles.
• Reached 1,000 career points in the regular-season finale.
• Named A-10 Player of the Week on Nov 25, 2019.
• Turned in a career day against Belmont, finishing with 21 points, 24 rebounds (tying an A-10 single-game record) and seven blocked shots (career high).
• Had 16 points and 18 rebounds in the regular-season finale against St. Bonaventure.
• Named Most Outstanding Player of the Billikens’ Jerry Colangelo Classic win against Tulane, finishing with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
• Finished with 16 points and 17 rebounds in the home game against Dayton.
• Turned in 12 points and 14 rebounds in the road victory at Rhode Island.
 
2018-19 • Sophomore
• Third-team All-Conference selection (Atlantic 10).
• A-10 All-Defensive team.
• Appeared in all 36 games.
• Led Billikens with 8.4 rpg and 66 blocked shots.
• Scored 9.3 ppg, including a 10.9 ppg clip during A-10 play.
• His 66 blocked shots are tied for the third-most in a single season in school history.
• His 302 total rebounds and 8.4 rpg ranked third and eighth, respectively, among sophomores in school history.
• Recorded 10 double-doubles on the season, the second-most in a single season in school history.
• Had 17 double-digit scoring and 14 double-digit rebounding games.
• Turned in a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds in the A-10 first round game against Richmond.
• Scored a career-high 25 points in the win against UMass.
• Blocked a career-high six shots against Pitt, also scoring 13 points and bringing down 10 rebounds against the Panthers.
• Scored nine points, had eight rebounds and blocked two shots against Virginia Tech in the NCAA Tournament. 
 
2017-18 • Freshman
• A-10 All-Rookie team selection.
• Started 32 games for the Billikens.
• Recorded 59 blocked shots on the season, the most by a freshman in school history and fourth all-time in a single season in SLU history.
• Collected 228 total rebounds, tied for second by a freshman in SLU history.
• Named A-10 Rookie of the Week on Feb. 19.
• Scored 9.3 ppg and averaged 7.1 rpg for the Billikens.
• Shot 53.5 percent (129-241) from the field.
• Had five double-doubles on the season.
• Turned in a career-high 20 points on 10-of-15 shooting at Dayton.
• Posted 17 points, nine rebounds and a career-high six blocks in the home win against La Salle.
• Poured in 16 points and added eight boards against George Washington.
• Had 13 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double against Detroit.
• Went for 11 points and 12 boards vs. Campbell.
• Had 12 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double at UMass.
• Turned in 11 points and brought down 11 boards vs. Fordham.
• Corralled a career-high 16 rebounds at home against St. Bonaventure.

Prior to SLU
• Attended prep school at Commonwealth Academy in Springfield, Massachusetts.
• Ranked as the No. 90 recruit in the final ESPN Top 100 rankings and was an ESPN four-star recruit.
• Consensus top-15 ranking at his position on various recruiting websites.
• Burst onto the AAU scene with the PSA Cardinals (New York City).
• On the summer AAU circuit, he averaged 7.9 ppg and 8.3 rpg while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor.
• Helped the Cardinals to a 14-2 record, including a 4-1 mark at the Nike Peach Jam.
• Scored more than 1,000 points at Commonwealth Academy.
