Was one of the team's best hitters in his first season as a Billiken...hit third for SLU all season, leading the team in average, slugging percentage, runs scored, hits, RBI, home runs, total bases and multi-hit games...earned second team All-Conference honors...had a big game against Eastern Illinois on May 8, going three-for-four with five RBIs, two home runs and two runs scored...

At Garden City
Played right field and first base at Garden City (Kan.) Community College...was a second-team All-Jayhawk Community College Conference selection as a sophomore...led the squad in home runs (eight) and doubles (22) while hitting .337, driving in 48 RBIs and scoring 49 runs...helped the Broncbusters to a 41-23 record and an appearance in the Region VI baseball tournament.

At Rocky Mountain
A two-sport athlete for the Lobos, playing football and baseball...led the Lobos to state championships in 2007 and 2008...earned first-team All-State accolades in 2008 after hitting .470 with 10 home runs, 43 RBIs, .892 slugging and .527 on-base...2008 Colorado state tournament MVP...two time All-Conference selection...earned the Elanor Troxell Award, given to the student-athlete that best represents excellence on the field and in the classroom...won the Fort Collins Coloradoan Athletic Excellece Award for best male athlete...earned a full-ride scholarship to Colorado State to play football.
