Was productive across the diamond for coach Hendrickson, starting 43
games between 1B, 2B and OF...was a tough out in his first season as a Billiken,
hitting .266 with a .320 on-base and .342 slugging percentage...was third on the
team with 12 stolen bases in 13 attempts and second in runs with 30...opened the
season going 17 for 44, including five- and six-game hit streaks...later in the
season, notched a nine-game hit streak...had a season-high four RBIs against
SEMO. He went 3 of 6 with a home run and three runs scored in the contest...
At Forest Park Community College
Led the team in the majority of offensive categories including average (.438), home runs (10) and RBIs (61) ... was a first-team All-Region selection.
Ladue Horton Watkins High School
Was a four-year letterwinner for the Rams ... an All-State selection at Ladue, hit .446 and slugged .743 his senior year ... as a junior, ranked among the St. Louis area leaders in batting average (.535), doubles (17) and runs scored (39) ... earned team's Jim Wolfe and the Ryan Howard award.
