Hitting - Started at third for 46 games, hit .253, had a
.357 on-base and slugged .301 with eight doubles, 21 RBIs, and 2 swipes...opened
his Saint Louis career with three consecutive multi-hit games, going 6-for-11
with two RBIs and four runs scored in that span...against SIUE notched three hits
in four at-bats with three runs and two RBIs...rattled off a five-game hitting
streak from Mar. 12-18...knocked in four RBIs against UMSL on two doubles and scored
a run himself...
Pitching - Shut down the final innings for coach Hendrickson, with a 2-2
record, 3.41 ERA and 10 saves...in his first appearance, threw four innings of
shutout baseball at Texas-Pan American fanning four with only one hit allowed...notched
his first save with 2.0 shutout innings while fanning three against
LeMoyne...his 10 saves on the season marks a SLU record...
2010 • Took a redshirt and did not play.
2009 • Seward County Community College
Was a bona fide two-way player for coach Gaylen McSpadden's Saints ... helped team to a second place in the region ... named first-team All-Region after finishing second on the team in average (.371), home runs (nine) and RBIs (54) ... also led the Saints' pitching staff in appearances (20), saves (12) and ERA (1.85).
2008 • Kansas City Kansas Community College
Played one season for coach Steve Burleson's Blue Devils ... helped team to a second-place finish in the competitive Jayhawk Conference.
At Lincoln Northeast
Four-year letterwinner for coaches Bill Flagler and Jerome Erlich's Rockets ... picked up first-team All-State honors as a senior after earning second-team All-State plaudits his junior year ... earned honorable-mention All-State honors as a freshman and sophomore ... as a senior, posted a 5-3 record with a 2.02 ERA and 46 Ks ... also contributed at the plate with a .418 average and 15 extra base hits, including five homers.
